Local workers manually sort through the scrap metal fragments. The metal pieces are categorized into various types such as copper, nickel silver, brass, aluminum, and zinc. During this process, any valuable items — such as coins and silverware — are picked out and stored separately.

Scrap coins in bulk, handpicked by local workers and ready to be sold to us.There are two types of coins: some have dirty, blackened surfaces with visible stains and burn marks, while others are clean U.S. coins clearly picked out from sorted metal. These differences are the result of coins coming from different recycling sources.

We purchase various dirty coins in bulk from scrap metal processing plants. Our workers then sort and clean them by quality, denomination, and currency. Coins that can still be redeemed in their country of origin are kept, while unusable ones — such as coins with extremely low face value, severely damaged or melted coins, expired coins, and tokens — are melted down as scrap metal.
